My Daily Food Diary – Day 115

Current Weigh In: As of Saturday, September 5, I weighed in at 253.5 pounds – 3.5 pounds more than I weighed after finding out that I was misreading my scale. I have lost 13 pounds and gained 14.5 pounds. My next weigh in is Saturday, September 12.

AM Notes

TUESDAY FOOD & DRINKS

I recently decided to start a high-fat, low-carb diet based on some revelations from Dr. Mark Hyman, MD. I also increased my daily calorie limit to 2,500 since I am getting up earlier and going to bed later due to school, work, and other commitments. This seems to be too extreme. I just feel like I am gaining weight. We’ll see what the scale says on Saturday.

Tuesday, 7:15 am Breakfast (500 + 1 Missed Snack (1) = 600 calories allotted)

  • 1/4 Bottle of Mango Smoothie – 130 calories
  • 1 Banquet French Toast and Sausage Breakfast – 280 calories
  • 1 Frozen Strawberry Juice Bar – 60 calories
  • Total 7:15 am Breakfast calories = 470 (130 calories under allotment)

Tuesday, 8:30 am Snack (2) (100 + Breakfast leftover = 230 calories allotted)

  • 1 Snickers Bar – 250 calories
  • Total 8:30 am Snack (2) calories = 250 (20 calories over allotment)

Tuesday, 3:30 pm Lunch (500 + 3 Missed Snacks (3, 4, 5) – Snack (2) overage = 780 calories allotted): at work

  • 1/4 Bottle of Mango Juice – 100 calories
  • 3/4 Bag of Nacho Cheese Bugles – 375
  • Total 3:30 pm Lunch calories = 475 (305 calories under allotment)

Tuesday, 7:30 pm Snack (7) (100 + 1 Missed Snack (6) + Lunch leftover = 505 calories allotted)

  • 1/2 Bottle of Mango Juice – 200 calories
  • 6 Red Vines Licorice Twists – 200 calories
  • Total 7:30 pm Snack (7) calories = 400 (105 calories under allotment)

Tuesday, 9:30 pm Snack (9) (100 + 1 Missed Snack (8) + Snack (7) leftover = 305 calories allotted)

  • 1/4 Bottle of Mango Juice – 100 calories
  • Corn Chips – 150 calories
  • Total 9:30 am Snack calories = 250 (55 calories under allotment)

Total Calories Consumed: 470 + 250 + 475 + 400 + 250 = 1,845 as of 9:45 pm.
